Position Description: We are looking for an organized and proactive part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will provide support to the Transitional Housing Program. The Administrative Assistant will also manage finances and assists in report development.

Required: High School Diploma/GED; 2 years of administrative experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 11:00 am-3:00 pm (20 hours a week)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Customer service skills to work with internal and external clients
Organized with an attention to detail
Basic Accounting skills & Counting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate with diverse audiences
Maintain program documentation to comply with certification requirements
Provide reception at front desk and answer main phone line
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to type 45 words per minute (WPM)
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Reports to: Program Director

Position Designation: This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. You may be subject to drug testing prior to or during your employment with SOME. In this position, you may be disqualified from employment based on the presence of marijuana in test results, even if you possess a medical card authorizing the use of medical marijuana.

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. Requires looking at a computer screen for several hours a day. May be required to sit for long periods.
