Senior Case Manager

Compensation:
We offer our employees a competitive compensation and benefits package that reflects our organizational culture, mission, and core values. The hourly range for this position is $59,000 to $62,000k and is commensurate with experience.

SOME (So Others Might Eat) is currently seeking a full-time Family Services Adult Case Manager - Adult Service Coordinator within our Family Services department located at Weinberg House in NE Washington, DC.

Position Description: The Weinberg House Senior Case Manager is responsible for overseeing the case management and programmatic functions of the site, in conjunction with managing a case load. The position provides supervision of the Family Services Case Managers and the Program Assistant. This position is also responsible for staff development and evaluation, overseeing case management plans, and developing programs for adults and youth that are creative, engaging, educational, and that promote family stabilization. Partners and works collaboratively with community resources for housing, employment, substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment, training, and makes referrals as appropriate.

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor's Degree in related field; 2+ years of case management experience; supervisory experience. Experience working in a residential setting is preferred.

Schedule: Mon, Wed, Fri 8:00am-4:30pm and Tues & Thursday 11:00-7:30

Position Designation: This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. You may be subject to drug testing prior to or during your employment with SOME. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. Requires looking at a computer screen for several hours a day. May be required to sit for long periods.
