We meet immediate needs with food, clothing, and healthcare and offer the tools one needs to live with hope, dignity, and greater independence. Compensation: We offer our employees a competitive compensation and benefits package that reflects our organizational culture, mission, and core values. The hourly range for this position is $37.91 to $40.09 and may commensurate with experience. SOME (So Others Might Eat) is seeking a part-time Staff Nurse for our Senior Services department at our Karin and Kuehner house location. Position Description: The Staff Nurse will manage health care for clients of SOME's Senior Services Programs. Schedule: Part-Time; Monday-Friday; (20 hours per week - Flexible hours) Qualifications: Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing; Licensed Practical Nurse; 2-3 yrs experience in geriatric care; experience with low-income patients; Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing; Registered Nurse; 3+ yrs experience in geriatric care; experience with low-income patients; experience providing services to patients in recovery; previous experience providing community healthcare and home visits. Required License/Certification: Nursing License by the District of Columbia Department of Health; CPR/First Aid, Driver's license and access to reliable personal vehicle Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
