Residential Assistant - Leland

With over 30 programs throughout the District of Columbia, we provide a wide spectrum of services to the most vulnerable individuals and families of our city. We strive to provide success paths toward mental and physical health, continued sobriety, job training and employment with a living wage, affordable housing, and ultimately living independently and confidently.

Compensation: We offer our employees a competitive compensation and benefits package that reflects our organizational culture, mission, and core values. The hourly range for this position is $17.50 to $17.95 and may be commensurate with experience.

SOME Inc. is currently seeking a part-time Residential Assistant to join our Transitional Housing department, Leland Place location.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 4:00pm - 10:00pm (24 hours/week)

Position Description: Provides monitoring and oversight for the health and safety of housing facility and residents

Required: HS/GED; 3-5 yrs experience in social services; experience providing services in addictions or mental health treatment

Preferred: Associate's Degree; 5 + yrs experience in social services; experience providing services in addictions or mental health treatment

Required License/Certification: CPR/First Aid, Driver's License
